| Pixel 2 won't connect to PC |

Hi,
The smaller Pixel 2 refuses to connect to any computer over a USB 3.0 connection.
When connecting to a Windows 10 PC with a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard, the phone merely detects the PC as a charger and keeps charging. The phone does not show up under Windows Explorer. The phone does not show a notification to switch modes to MTP.
When connecting to the same PC with a USB 2.0 port, the phone instantly shows up in Windows Explorer and displays the notification to switch modes.
When connecting to a Mac over a USB 3.0 port, the phone shows the option to switch modes but after switching Android File Transfer utility keeps throwing an error and shuts down. Connecting a Samsung Galaxy Note8 over the same cable to the same port on the same computers works normally.
